Performances in the US this winter
At the end of January Nikolay Lugansky travels to the US for a 6-date tour.
Pianist performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 with the National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Manfred Honeck at the Kennedy Center Concert Hall on January 30-31 and February 1. The rest of the programme features Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8 and Mason Bates’ Resurrexit.
On February 4, Nikolay performs free recital at the Ithaca College School of Music. Where he performs Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 30, Piano Sonata No. 28 and Piano Sonata No. 23 and Franck’s Prélude, Choral et Fugue. He then travels to Asheville (February 7) and Evanston (February 8) to play the same programme.
